3rd vs. 4th - a crucial battle in the race for Champions League qualification. The Red Bulls travel to face Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday evening in the Bundesliga's primetime fixture.
In his pre-match press conference on Friday, head coach Zsolt Löw discussed the upcoming opponents, team news and more. We've rounded up all the key quotes below.
"Dino Toppmöller is already familiar with RB football from his time at the club and has developed well since then. He's now one of Germany's best head coaches. He demands aggressive pressing and counter-pressing from his players.Frankfurt have an incredible amount of pace in attack. They have lots of players that can run in between the lines, but I believe that our players have the quality to deal with that. Both teams look to play attractive football, so I'm sure it will be a good watch for the fans. The support the Eintracht have at home is unreal - it's a very loud stadium. It's not easy to win there, but we will prepare as best as we can in order to record our first victory in Frankfurt. For them it's about keeping us at arm's length in the battle for the Champions League. We want to close the gap to Frankfurt and create a bit of cushion to the teams below us."

"Kevin Kampl is always an option when he's fit. Unfortunately we've had to go without him for a couple of weeks due to a fingernail infection. He's pain-free now though and has been able to take part in a number of sessions, so he's available again.Arthur Vermeeren is a young player, so you can't expect his development to have a constant upwards trajectory. He has done a good job so far, but he had a poor first half against Kiel, and he knows that. I told him that these things happen in football. The question is how you deal with it and come back from it. I think that he's on course to put it behind him."

"We need to rally together as a unit. That is what multiplies our strengths. You saw against Kiel that when there are a couple of poor passes in succession, then we start to spiral and everyone starts to think only about themselves. We're not yet the team that can easily put those setbacks aside. We need to work on developing more stability. I'm trying to focus on the positive moments, such as how we saw out the win against Wolfsburg and how we came back into the game against Kiel. It's tough for a goalkeeper to be thrown in after one minute of warming up, but Maarten Vandevoordt dealt with it superbly and I told him that after the game. He can be proud of how he was on hand for us straight away. He's a young goalkeeper, but he's already really good. We don't need to have any concerns about him filling in for Pete."

"Xavi has trained well and looked strong both on and off the ball. I've known him since he was very young. He has trained alongside big stars and has the knowledge to be a leader himself. It doesn't happen overnight, but he has the quality and the character to become one. I fully expect him to take that next step in his development."
