Borussia Mönchengladbach emerged victorious in the last Bundesliga match of the day, sending bottom side Bochum home with a 3-0 defeat.
The Foals were 1-0 up at the break thanks to a well-worked corner routine, which saw former Bochum player Kevin Stöger set up Rocco Reitz for a curling finish.
Gladbach doubled their lead in the 55th minute when a quick throw-in from Tim Kleindienst fell to Robin Hack, who cut inside and finished neatly.
Tim Kleindienst had a chance to get on the scoresheet himself in the closing stages when the referee pointed to the spot after Bochum goalkeeper Patrick Drewes brought down Nathan Ngoumou.
Kleindienst's spot-kick was saved by Drewes, but he calmly slotted home the rebound to complete the scoring.
The win ended a three-game winless streak for Gladbach and lifted them to eighth, while Bochum remain bottom of the Bundesliga table.
