There is one Premier League club pushing the hardest now to sign a Chelsea player who’s future will be decided this week.

There are plenty of little situations going on now at Chelsea as they scramble to get some more outgoing deals done before they turn attentions to some potential more new arrivals.

Sources: Chelsea now expecting permanent offers in for Christopher Nkunku

Renato Veiga is one player who needs to go and who Chelsea are needing to sell in the remaining weeks of the window, and Serie A side Villarreal are one club who are looking to make a move to sign him now.

And apparently Veiga has already agreed personal terms to join Villarreal this week, although there is yet to be a reported agreement on the fee as of now.

But Chelsea could do with selling a couple of attackers now as well, with both Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku set to depart the club this month.

Jackson to Villa?

Reliable Spanish journalist Eduardo Burgos from Diario AS posted on his X account last night:

“Nico Jackson’s future will be decided this week.

“The player is clear that he will leave, and Aston Villa is pushing hard. They want a loan with an obligation to buy. Nico likes the idea.

“Other teams have also approached his agency: Newcastle, Forest, Milan, Inter, or Juve.”

Looks most likely

If Alexander Isak does now leave Newcastle, then I can see Jackson potentially ending up there. But the most likely move I believe is Villa. He’s worked with Unai Emery before and it just seems like the easiest and most obvious move for all parties at this point.

Chelsea ideally need a permanent sale but a loan with an obligation is not the worst case scenario especially if they get a decent loan fee.
