Our last home game against Fulham in September 2023 saw Erling Haaland bag a hat-trick, with Nathan Ake and Julian Alvarez also on target in an impressive 5-1 victory, which maintained our 100% winning start to the season.
We faced them again later that season in May, and emerged 4-0 victors with Josko Gvardiol scoring twice, added by Phil Foden and Alvarez goals.
Our last league encounter was a tense 1-1 draw against Newcastle at St James’ Park last weekend.
We were also in action in the Champions League on Tuesday night, securing a convincing 4-0 away victory over Slovan Bratislava thanks to goals from Ilkay Gundogan, Phil Foden, Erling Haaland and James McAtee.
As for Fulham, they ended Nottingham Forest’s unbeaten start to the campaign last weekend, with Raul Jimenez netting a penalty in an impressive away victory for Marco Silva’s side.
