Manchester City’s clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge will kickstart the 2025/26 Barclays Women’s Super League campaign.
Andrée Jeglertz’s side travel down to London on Friday 5 September for a 19:30 (UK) kick-off, with the match broadcast live in the United Kingdom on Sky Sports.
Our last league encounter with the reigning WSL champions at Stamford Bridge ended in a 2-0 defeat, but we came away with a 1-0 triumph in the season prior.
One week later, we welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to the Joie Stadium for our first home fixture of the season, as we did for the 2024/25 campaign.
That’s set for Saturday 13 September, but all matches remain subject to change while broadcasters decide which games will be shown live each weekend.
City will also play two of our WSL matches at the Etihad Stadium in 2025/26, the first against Manchester United on the weekend of 14/15/16 November, with the return fixture currently set for 27/28/29 March.
The second Etihad outing will be our second meeting with Chelsea on the weekend spanning the 30 January to the 1 February.
General admission tickets for both Etihad Stadium matches will also be made available from 14:00 on Friday 25 July, with our Joie Stadium fixtures then available to purchase from Tuesday 5 August.
Additional information will be provided closer to the ticket drop. All the details can be found here.
We’ve served up some classic encounters with Arsenal in recent years, and our first tie against the Gunners comes at the Joie Stadium on 3/4/5 October, with a trip to London then slated for 6/7/8 February.
City also face new opposition this season in the form of Championship winners London City Lionesses. We welcome them to the Joie Stadium for our second home match of the campaign.
The festive break remains in place for the WSL this season so our final match of 2025 will see us host Aston Villa on 12/13/14 December.
We return with another home tie, this time against Everton on 9/10/11 January, one week before our FA Cup campaign begins at the fourth round stage.
Our 2025/26 campaign wraps up at West Ham United on 15/16/17 May.
As previously stated, the date and time for all fixtures beyond the opening weekend are subject to change due to broadcast selections.
