Manchester City will face Aston Villa at home in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup quarter-final.
Conducted on the competition’s official YouTube channel, it means Gareth Taylor’s side will welcome the Villans to the Joie Stadium across the weekend of Saturday 8 March and Sunday 9 March with a place in the last-four up for grabs.
The Blues reached this stage of the historic competition with a 3-0 win over Ipswich Town before we reached the last-eight with a strong 3-1 win over Leicester City.
On that occasion, first-half goals from Leila Ouahabi and Kerolin Nicoli gave us a commanding lead at the break before Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw extended our lead with an unstoppable header.
In the closing stages, Nelly Las pulled a goal back for the Foxes which represented a consolation for the visitors.
City enter the quarter-finals aiming to win the FA Cup for the fourth time in our illustrious history by triumphing in the competition this term.
