This Sunday will be one of the most eagerly awaited matches for Chivas Femenil, as they will visit the Tuzas del Pachuca as part of Matchday 15 of the Clausura 2024. This match is of vital importance for the Rebaño, who must win in order to avoid falling behind the leaders of the circuit, in addition to the long history that exists in the rivalry.

The Chingonas have fond memories of facing Pachuca, not only because of the exciting chapters they have given us in soccer but also because they have two Liga MX titles against the Hidalguenses.

To talk about the first, we have to go back to 2017 when the first tournament in the history of the pink circuit was played. On that day, the Chingonas wrote their names in golden letters in the history of women's soccer, winning the title at the Akron Stadium with a 3-2 aggregate win. It was on November 24 of that year when, in front of more than 40,000 people in the stands, the red-and-white team came from behind to win 3-0 with goals from Arlett Tovar and Norma Palafox.

The Rebaño's second championship was also against Tuzas. On May 22, 2022, both teams met at the Fortaleza Rojiblanca and after winning the first leg 2-4, the Chingonas had the task of maintaining their advantage and winning the title in front of their home fans. Thanks to a spectacular performance by Blanca Félix, who saved a penalty kick in the final moments, and the tireless support of the Chiva Nation, the Guadalajara team won its second league title with a 4-3 aggregate score.

This match brings back sweet memories for all the rojiblancos at heart, so we are sure that this Sunday's duel will be of high voltage and great value in the aspirations of the Chingonas.
