Chelsea will face Danish side Copenhagen in the last 16 of the 2024/25 Conference League.
The Blues booked their spot in the draw for the last 16 by finishing top of the league phase, rattling off six straight wins to reinforce their status as the favourites to go all the way and win this competition.
Enzo Maresca often rotated his squad for Conference League games but, with the level of competition now rising, could rely on more of his big names, starting with the last 16 meeting with Copenhagen.
Copenhagen sit top of the Danish top flight and have reached that spot even without the help of rumoured Chelsea target Roony Bardghji. The 19-year-old winger tore his ACL at the start of the season and is not expected back this year.
Cole Palmer was added to Chelsea's Conference League squad earlier this month, having initially been left out for "load management". Trevoh Chalobah, who returned from a loan with Crystal Palace in January, has also been added alongside new signing Mathis Amougou.
Wesley Fofana and Romeo Lavia remain out of the squad. Both were omitted from the original roster to help their returns from lengthy injury absences, although the pair have since been struck down by significant lay-offs anyway.
The Conference League last 16 ties will be begin on 6 March and conclude one week later. Serie A's Fiorentina are among the biggest names potentially waiting in the later stages, as are league runners-up Vitoria de Guimaraes from Portugal.
