Chelsea Take Firm Stance on Versatile Defender Amid Liverpool, PSG Interest | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain will likely aim to bolster their backline this summer transfer window. The Parisians began the process in January with the arrival of Lucas Beraldo and, in recent weeks, Chelsea’s Levi Colwill.

Recently, journalist Ben Jacobs wrote in his column for Caught Offside that PSG have an interest in Colwill. The Ligue 1 side will have money to spend, so they might not hesitate to bring in a player with a high upside.

Jacobs provided an update on the Colwill file and noted that the Blues are taking a firm stance on the issue. According to Jacobs, Chelsea won’t consider offers for Colwill this summer.

Liverpool have been interested in the past but has no plans to make a bid this summer. PSG has contacted his representatives, but Chelsea has informed them of their stance.

Colwill, who can play center-back and left-back, is under contract until 2029. As a result, the Premier League club have the advantage in this situation and has no interest in changing its position.

It seems PSG will have to look at other files to improve their defense for next season.
