Chelsea signing a world class striker this summer is apparently just a phone call and a couple of days away now.
This news comes after Chelsea got a vital three points on Friday night against Manchester United in what was a crucial win for the race for Champions League football next season.
One Chelsea legend Gary Cahill was at the match and he has hailed one key player in the game as being one of the best in Europe after his influence on the match.
Cahill wasn’t the only one praising this player as well, with team mate Pedro Neto joining in and picking up on the character of the Chelsea hero from Friday night.
Chelsea will now move on to their final league game of the season next weekend away at Nottingham Forest, and it’s another game they have to win the secure Champions League qualification.
Chelsea NEED to sign a new striker this summer if they really want to improve and elevate themselves, and it is most certainly their transfer priority right now.
They have needed a proper number 9 since Diego Costa left the club in 2017, so this summer they simply have to get one and they have to get the right one.

In terms of what Chelsea need the most, Victor Osimhen is the closest player to that right now. And John Obi Mikel has been on the Osimhen prop again this week.
He said on his Podcast:
“We HAVE to get Victor Osimhen, it will be a disaster after everything we have been through between me, the club and him if he goes somewhere and wears another shirt. He has been on fire, the hunger he plays with, he is reliable, gets you goals and assists.
“Victor is tailor made for us, he supported us growing up, his idol is Drogba, how many times am I going to say this, he bleeds blue, he wants to play for us!
“It would literally be a phone call, a couple days and done, I have done all I can, it is now down to the club.”
