Chelsea are among the clubs to have approached intermediaries of Palmeiras defender Vitor Reis according to reports.
The Blues have targeted the South American market under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital owenrship and have signed a number of talents from the continent.
Andrey Santos is currently thriving on loan at Strasbourg, whilst Chelsea agreed a deal worth £51.4m for Estevao Willian in the summer and Kendry Paez will also join the club, with the pair deemed two of the biggest talents in South America.
Whilst the Blues have pretty much completed their squad rebuild bar one or two positions they are constantly on the lookout for the stars of tomorrow.

Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Arsenal are said to the other clubs, whilst the report adds Madrid have the longest standing interest having made an enquiry earlier this year.
GOAL add that Palmeiras believe Reis still has a lot to achieve at the club and they have no intention of selling the teenager.
Reis has come through the ranks at Palmeiras and made his debut earlier this year and would have played with future Chelsea star Estevao.
The 18-year-old is under contract until 2028 and has made 22 appearances for Palmeiras, scoring two goals, whilst he’s also represented Brazil at U17 level.

It’s not a surprise to hear Chelsea linked with a potential move for Reis, but given they have already signed promising Argentine defender Aaron Anselmino, a move at this stage doesn’t seem to make much sense.
The Blues are looking to sign another centre back, but they will likely target someone slightly more experienced, with Benfica star Tomas Araujo believed to be a player they like.
