When it comes to potential exits, Manchester City have slapped a multi-million price tag on one of the club’s most highly-rated attacking talents, amid interest from both Premier League and Championship clubs.

Following days 15 and 16 of the ongoing summer transfer window, here is your daily and comprehensive round-up of everything concerning Manchester City in the market!

Micah Richards: “(Riccardo) Calafiori has been amazing. He’s the one everyone’s talking about. All the big clubs are linked with him. He plays his football for Bologna, and I’ve heard Arsenal and Man City are interested. He’s really good on the ball, can score goals, can defend. And when we’ve been doing the games, I’ve been concentrating on [Alessandro] Bastoni, but Calafiori has been equally impressive…” (‘The Rest is Football’ podcast)

The chance to link up with Pep Guardiola is swaying Joshua Kimmich towards Manchester City. Kimmich’s camp want to hear if Guardiola plans to sign a contract to stay at the Etihad Stadium beyond next summer. The 29-year-old also wants to play more in midfield rather than right-back. (The Sun)

Departures

Southampton are keen to win the race for Liam Delap, with Manchester City willing to sell for around £10 million. Hull City would like him back after their loan deal but a Premier League move would attract him more. (Alan Nixon)

Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland are on the radar of Barcelona, and president Joan Laporta is ‘dreaming’ of signing both players in the near future. (Sport)

Julian Alvarez‘s representatives have told interested parties they do not see a way which Manchester City will allow him to leave. Chelsea, PSG and Barcelona are amongst the sides who have been spoken to. Alvarez held talks with Pep Guardiola after the season when he made it clear he wanted to be a key player and he received assurances he was already regarded as that. City have no intention of selling. (TBR Football)

David Chigwada has now signed his West Ham contract after leaving Manchester City. (Fabrizio Romano)

Girona want James McAtee on loan or on a permanent deal with a sell-back clause. Manchester City want the midfielder to sign a new contract before deciding where he goes next season. (Alan Nixon, The Sun)
