Chelsea could give Tyrique George more opportunities if they don’t sign a winger before deadline day according to reports.
The January window slams shut on Monday and the Blues haven’t been as active as expected, although these last few days are usually when things start to heat up.
Chelsea are yet to make any signings, although they have agreed a deal with Strasbourg worth €15m for Mamdou Sarr, who will join in the summer.
The Blues are still looking to move a number of players on before deadline day, whilst they are also looking to bring in an attacker.
Chelsea have been linked with Mathys Tel, although it’s believed the 19-year-old has made it clear he doesn’t want to make the switch to Stamford Bridge.
Enzo Maresca’s side have also been linked with Alejandro Garancho, but are said to be prepared to bide their time and it could be a deal which goes down to deadline day.

Any attacking signing will likely require one of Joao Felix or Christopher Nkunku to leave, with Felix strongly linked with Aston Villa, whilst Nkunku is open to a move to Bayern Munich.
However, Mail Sport have reported that in the event Chelsea don’t sign a winger, George has shown that he should be given more opportunities.
The teenager is now part of the first team squad after being promoted earlier this season, and has impressed in the ten first team appearances he’s made under Maresca.

George got his first Premier League minutes of the season when he came on as a late substitute against Wolves earlier this month.
The winger certainly deserves more opportunities and is currently under contract at Chelsea until 2027, and he’s regarded as one of the best talents to come out of the academy, along with Josh Acheampong.
