Bologna have their last chance of staying in the Champions League by hosting giants Borussia Dortmund with Riccardo Orsolini, Dan Ndoye and Santiago Castro.
It kicks off at the Stadio Dall’Ara at 20.00 GMT.
There is little hope for the Rossoblu to avoid finishing in the bottom eight and therefore getting eliminated from the Champions League after the opening phase of this new format, as they picked up only two points from six games.
Nonetheless, Bologna have been doing well in Serie A and gained further confidence from the 3-1 victory over Monza, despite chaotic 2-2 draws with Inter and Roma.
Michel Aebischer and Niccolò Cambiaghi are the only absentees, while Castro is preferred to Thijs Dallinga.
Lewis Ferguson and Tommaso Pobega both play in midfield.

Borussia Dortmund are flying high in the Champions League on 12 points from six games and hope to get direct access to the Round of 16.
However, coach Nuri Sahin is facing the possibility of the sack after three consecutive Bundesliga defeats that saw them slide to 10th place.
Ramy Bensebaini is suspended and Niklas Süle is a long-term injury absentee.
Star names include Emre Can, Marcel Sabitzer, Giovanni Reyna and Napoli transfer target Karim Adeyemi, with centre-forward Serhou Guirassy.
