Now, UEFA have announced via their official website that the whistler for the game — 32 year-old Rohit Saggi will be the man in the middle for Celtic’s crucial encounter tomorrow evening.
Saggi has only refereed two UEFA Champions League matches this season; Bologna v Shakhtar Donetsk in early September and then Sturm Graz v Girona in late November. Supporting Saggi on-field is fellow countryman Morten Jensen AR1, and Olav Dale AR2. Kristoffer Hagenes is fourth official. Manning VAR duties is Italian Marco Di Bello and taking the role as assistant VAR is German Benjamin Brand.
Kick-off on what will be an electrifying night at Paradise is 8pm (Celtic Park Time) and will be shown live on TNT Sports 3.
