Celtic Soccer Academy is delighted to announce our newest premium partner, Sacred Heart College in Adelaide, Australia.

This premium partnership will see Celtic Soccer Academy provide year-round support to the Sacred Heart College football department through the sharing of curriculums, monthly mentoring of their coaching staff and trips to Australia to deliver coaching camps and coach education clinics.

The partnership will also provide the opportunity for two players to visit Glasgow every year and train with our Academy as part of our Academy Player Experience programme.

The Sacred Heart College football programme has been running in its current form since 2015 and at present has eight teams and almost 140 players, catering for both young women and men.

Principal Daniel Lynch said: “Sacred Heart College is thrilled to be partnering with the Celtic Soccer Academy for the next three years.

"Given both Celtic Football Club and our College were founded by Marist Brothers only 10 years apart in 1887 and 1897 respectively, we are excited to build on those values bestowed on us by our founders.

“With Celtic’s partnership, we will continue to develop our football programme. This partnership gives our young women and men the chance to build upon their knowledge of the game, both academically and on the pitch.”

Head of Soccer Academy at Celtic FC, Chris Smith said: “We are really excited to partner with Sacred Heart College and play our part in the continued development of their first-class college football programme.

“From our initial call back in January, I could tell that they aligned with our club values and would be a fantastic addition to our ever growing number of partners in Australia.

"We’re really excited to start the process of integrating the two football departments and look forward to visiting them later this year.”
