Celtic Legends take on Borussia Dortmund Legends this Sunday (May 26) in a charity game to raise funds for Celtic FC Foundation.

The match – sponsored by Dafabet – will once again see Scott Brown pull on the captain’s armband to lead the Celtic Legends squad, with former Borussia Dortmund and Celtic legend, Paul Lambert, managing the Hoops, assisted by Tom Boyd and Tosh McKinlay.

It is sure to be a competitive fixture, with the Borussia Dortmund Legends squad boasting no fewer than five players who featured in their starting XI for the 2013 UEFA Champions League final.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the game.

11AM | TICKET OFFICE OPENS

The Ticket Office will be open from 11am to assist supporters on matchday. Any remaining tickets will be available up until kick-off or until sell-out. Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £7 for concessions.

REMEMBER YOUR PRINT AT HOME TICKETS

If you bought your match ticket online to print at home, you must bring your printed ticket with you to gain entry to Celtic Park. Tickets cannot be presented at the stadium on your mobile device.

11AM | SPORTS BAR OPEN TO SUPPORTERS

The Sports Bar at Celtic Park will be open from 11am to supporters with a valid match ticket. Located in the South West corner of the Jock Stein Stand, the bar can be accessed via the main Kerrydale Suite entrance, where stewards will be on hand to direct you. Last entry to the Sports Bar before kick-off is at 1:30pm, and after the game the bar will close at 7pm.

11:30AM | CELTIC LEGENDS ARRIVE

The Celtic Legends team bus will arrive at approximately 11:30am and will transport the team up the Celtic Way, so make sure you arrive early to give them the warm welcome they deserve! The Borussia Dortmund Legends will arrive at approximately 12:30pm.

12:30PM | STADIUM OPENS

Supporters are reminded to enter the stadium at the turnstile location shown on your match ticket to access your allocated seat. Additional concourse ticket checks will be in place to ensure adherence.

Upon entry, supporters are asked to pay attention to the instructional signage with upgraded access control readers at every turnstile within Celtic Park. Stewards are on hand to assist.

We would reiterate to supporters to please only use your allocated seat for the match and please follow the directions of assisting stewards at all times.

A limited edition Celtic/Dortmund scarf will be available to purchase in the superstore, with net proceeds supporting the Foundation. It’s the perfect souvenir to remember this special game for years to come!

Matchday programmes are available for £5 each and the net proceeds will also go to Celtic FC Foundation - you’ll find our programme sellers around the stadium on arrival at Celtic Park.

Get ready for what’s set to be a fantastic game for all the family, kicking off at 2pm!

SUPPORTING CELTIC FC FOUNDATION

Funds raised through the match will focus on feeding people in need of support, to reflect the heritage of the club and respond to the current cost of living crisis, which is overwhelming so many families and individuals.

This will include continuation and development of Celtic FC Foundation’s Paradise Pit Stop project at Celtic Park.

In addition, we will look to secure new locations for food provision with local partners in Inverclyde and Lanarkshire, plus London and Ireland to complement our current delivery of key projects in those areas.

With Scott Brown captaining the side, we’re delighted to confirm that a donation will also be made to Dundee Cancer Centre at Ninewells Hospital, in memory of his sister Fiona, who sadly passed away in 2008 aged just 21.
