Celta Vigo have this weekend been dealt a double blow on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that two members of the club’s first-team setup have been omitted from their latest matchday squad at the last minute.
Celta are set to return to action on Sunday, when they make the daunting trip to Spain’s capital, for a La Liga meeting with Atlético Madrid.
Claudio Giráldez’s troops will head into proceedings eyeing a third win from four, amid a timely recent upturn in form.
As alluded to above, though, such efforts will come without the contributions of two important members of the Celestes’ ranks.
The pair in question? Williot Swedberg, and Mihailo Ristic.
Upon Celta’s travelling squad bound for the Wanda Metropolitano being unveiled on Saturday evening, midfielder Swedberg and defender Ristic were nowhere to be seen.
And, as per a report from Mundo Deportivo, as much comes with both having suffered training ground injuries over the last 24 hours.
