Manchester City remain interested in Juventus’ defender Andrea Cambiaso for the summer and according to Tuttosport, the Italian defender will surely join the Premier League giants after the Club World Cup.
Cambiaso’s possible move from Manchester City to Juventus was one of the biggest transfer sagas during the winter window, but the Italy international eventually remained in Turin.
Tuttosport newspaper reports that Juventus and Man City had reached a principle of agreement for €60m plus add-ons, but the Premier League side prioritised other transfers, such as Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt for €75m or Nico Gonzalez from Porto for €60m.

Pep Guardiola’s side invested over €200m in winter signings, and according to Tuttosport, they have already ‘booked’ Cambiaso for next summer under the same transfer package agreed upon in January.
The report claims Cambiaso will join the Premier League giants after the Club World Cup, which he’ll play for Juventus.
Ilbianconero.com confirms that Manchester City remain interested in Cambiaso, although Juventus didn’t receive a formal offer from the Etihad Stadium in the January window.
Cambiaso’s move to Man City next summer remains possible, even if a potential transfer ban for the English club would make it impossible for them to sign the 24-year-old.
