According to Sports Zone, Brighton have identified Ispwich Town manager Kieran McKenna as their preferred option to become the new manager at the Amex. This development has occurred following Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed he will leave the Seagulls at the end of the Premier League season.

Brighton are not the only team to express their interest in appointing McKenna. Manchester United also admire the former Spurs youth coach, according to Foot Mercato. Erik Ten Hag still occupies the hot seat at Old Trafford but with the Red Devils potentially set to miss out on European football INEOS could be prepared to look elsewhere.

McKenna has become widely regarded as one of the most promising young coaches in the UK. The former Manchester United youth coach masterminded Ipswich’s recent promotion to the Premier League securing their place in the top flight of English football for the first time since 2002. It remains to be seen if he is keen on a new challenge or wants to take the Tractor Boys on their adventure into the Premier League.
