WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Seagulls this morning.
The 26-year-old joins Brighton & Hove Albion from Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie club Ajax.
Noordam has spent the last three-and-a-half years with Ajax after joining the club from ADO Den Haag. The player has gone on to make 105 appearances for the Amsterdam-based club in which she has scored 18 goals. Noordam won the Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie title with Ajax along with two KNVB Cups. She has also represented the club in European competition.
On the international stage, Noordam has previously been on the fringes of the Dutch squad, although she has been out of the picture in recent times.
After adding Noordam to his squad, Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Dario Vidošić said “We’re really pleased to have Nadine at Brighton. She is a versatile and high-energy central midfielder who can create and score goals. She’s got a lot of domestic experience in the Netherlands and in the Champions League so has played at the highest level in club football.
“Nadine is keen to play in the WSL, and we think she can have a big impact for us in the short and long-term. I’m looking forward to seeing her in a Brighton shirt and to being part of our squad.”
Brighton & Hove Albion completed Noordam’s move prior to last night’s transfer deadline.
