Nantes goalkeeper Alban Lafont (26) is attracting interest from a handful of clubs across Europe, including Ligue 1 rivals Brest and Panathinaikos according to Ouest-France. Nantes have been looking for a way out for Lafont after former head coach Antoine Kombouaré dropped him to the reserve team after a streak of unconvincing performances. Lafont is tied with Nantes over a contract set to expire in 2027.

Lafont is yet to feature in a competitive game with Nantes’ senior team since December 2024. Nantes have since signed Anthony Lopes from formative club Lyon. Ouest-France understands that Brest a considering a loan move for Lafont. Les Pirates are in the market for a goalkeeper as Dutch international goalkeeper Marco Bizot is closing in on a move to Premier League side Aston Villa.
