Liverpool Transfers: 22-year-old PSG Forward a Potential Summer Target

Liverpool’s ambitious summer window has recently been met by a wave of big-money outgoings. The departures of Caoimhin Kelleher, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jarell Quansah, Luis Diaz and Tyler Morton, along with the expected departure of Darwin Nunez, will have raised approximately £190million in player sales.

Midfielder Harvey Elliott could also follow those out of the door at Anfield, with Liverpool in talks with RB Leipzig over a deal in the region of £50million.

Despite spending close to £260million this summer already, Liverpool are still pushing for a deal to sign Alexander Isak and reinforce their defensive options this summer.

However, according to a recent report from L’Equipe vie Anfield Sector, there’s another name on the shortlist.

“BIG BREAKING: Liverpool want to sign Bradley Barcola.”

“Liverpool has been following the Villeurbanne player for a long time and could also take advantage of this “loyalty” to persuade the player.”

“For the club, for the moment not a seller, it will be necessary to be very convincing.”

The 22-year-old played a pivotal role in Paris Saint-Germain’s incredible 2024-25 campaign, which saw them the treble.

Barcola scored 22 goals and assisted a further 19 goals across all competitions last season, whilst sharing his role in the front three with the likes of Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue.

Liverpool have held long-standing interest in the French forward and could turn to him in the event that their move for Alexander Isak remains a non-starter due to Newcastle’s inability to secure a replacement.

It’ll be fascinating to see whether this report materialises, as Liverpool continue their record-breaking transfer window.
