To begin, to all those celebrating - Merry Christmas - hope you are enjoying Christmas Day with your loved ones. Don't worry, I am not working today. This is a scheduled post. I am probably eating Yorkshire Pudding and Stuffing as you read this. Or something like that.
From tomorrow, there is plenty of football all around the globe, including Spurs - away to Nottingham Forest. Furthermore, there is lots of football for Tottenham loanees. Let's take a look at how it is all shaping up.
In the Championship, Dane Scarlett's Oxford United side kick off the Gary Rowett era with a home game against Cardiff, for a 15:00 GMT kick off Meanwhile, Ashley Phillips and his Stoke City side are in action at home to Leeds - for the late 20:00 GMT kick off. The defender was left on the bench for the first time in 13 games last weekend.
Into League One, where Josh Keeely, Jamie Donley and Leyton Orient will be looking to continue their excellent form, when they host Crawley Town, with a lesser spotted 13:00 GMT kick off there. Matthew Craig and his Barnsley side, meanwhile, face Bolton Wanderers on the road at 15:00 GMT.
Both teams came up against each other last time out. Safe to say it went better for the Orient boys. Craig got his first start since October, but was tactically replaced after 36 minutes. Meanwhile, Keeley kept a clean sheet, and Donley scored once whilst providing two assists, in a thumping 4-0 win.
To wrap up the EFL, George Abbott and his Notts County side have a big game on the road against MK Dons. Another 15:00 GMT kick off for this one. Notts got a big and much needed win last time out at home to Bradford City. They could go up to fifth win three points here.
On the continent, there is Belgian Pro League action for Luka Vuskovic, Alfie Devine, and their KVC Westerlo side away to Club Brugge, for another 15:00 GMT kick off. That will be their final game of the year, as they go on a winter break of their own. No doubt the players wish that they could have had a winter break without having to prepare on Christmas Day, but there we are.
