According to a report from L’Équipe, AJ Auxerre midfielder Kévin Danois (20) is expected to stay at the club this summer, despite interest from elsewhere.
Danois broke through with L’AJA last season, registering a first full season in Ligue 1 and one in which he thrived. Making 22 Ligue 1 appearances, he ensured a strong league finish for Christophe Pélissier’s side, who defied expectations to achieve a comfortable mid-table finish.
Naturally, their players are attracting interest from other clubs. However, one player that now looks likely to stay is France youth international Danois. He has been the subject of interest from other clubs, L’Équipe understands, including Bournemouth. The Cherries have already done some shopping in France this summer, having signed Adrien Truffert from Stade Rennais. Danois, however, looks set to stay put.
Hamed Junior Traoré will leave Auxerre. The forward, L’AJA’s star player, will return to Bournemouth upon the conclusion of his loan deal.
