Bournemouth complete signing of Liverpool winger | OneFootball

Bournemouth have confirmed the signing of Liverpool winger Ben Doak on a five-year deal.

The 19-year-old joined the Reds from Scottish side Celtic for £600,000 in 2022, so the £25m deal represents a significant profit for the Merseyside club, and takes their sales for the summer just shy of £230m.

Doak has made just 10 competitive senior appearances for Liverpool in recent years, but last season's loan spell at Middlesbrough proved fruitful with three goals and seven assists across 24 appearances.

The winger becomes Bournemouth's fifth arrival of the summer window, following the likes of Bafodé Diakité and Đorđe Petrović through the door.

They have, however, seen a significant number of outgoings with almost their entire defence - including Milos Kerkez, Dean Huijsen and Illia Zabarnyi - all moving on.
