German heavyweights Borussia Dortmund are expected to have a pair of injured players back available for selection in time for the club’s meeting with Barcelona.
Dortmund and Barca are of course primed to lock horns next week, in a Champions League clash at Signal Iduna Park.
Both sides have been forced to make do without the services of key players in the buildup to the fixture, owing to injury problems.
On the BVB side of things, they have been unable to call upon key attacker Karim Adeyemi since all the way back in October, owing to a thigh issue.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, though, Dortmund boss Nuri Sahin confirmed that the German international is making solid progress in his recovery.
So much so that Adeyemi should be ready to play his part against Barcelona.
And the 22-year-old is not the only one…
Elsewhere in Sahin’s ranks, Julian Brandt was forced to sit out last time out, as Dortmund battled their way to a 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, though:
‘German international playmaker Julian Brandt is also likely to return to action after a muscle injury.’
Donny Malen and Julian Ryerson, struck down by respective illnesses this week, are expected to be fully recovered in time to face Barcelona, too.
