How do you rate the chances of Newcastle United winning the FA Cup?
In total, 36 clubs will take part in the league stage of the 2025/26 Champions League and so far there are now 29 Champions League clubs qualified.
Those 29 are Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle United, Napoli, Inter Milan, Atalanta, Juventus, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Athletic Club, Villarreal, Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Dortmund, Paris St-Germain, Marseille, Monaco, PSV Eindhoven, Ajax, Sporting, Union Saint-Gilloise, Galatasaray, Slavia Prague and Olympiakos.
We await the identity of the other seven Champions League clubs, those will be decided via preliminary rounds and play-offs across these next two months.
The draw for the 36 clubs league stage will take place on 28 August 2026.
All 36 will each then play eight league matches, four at home and four away, against eight different opponents (All the details and dates relating to the 2025/26 Champions League are detailed below in an official UEFA announcement.)

In 2025/26, Europe’s elite club competition returns for its 71st season and its 34th since it was renamed the UEFA Champions League. It kicks off on 8 July 2025 and runs until the final in Budapest, Hungary, on Saturday 30 May 2026.
How will 2025/26 Champions League qualifying work?
Twenty-nine teams qualify directly for the league phase, with the final seven spots coming through qualifying, culminating in August’s play-offs. The stage at which the teams enter qualifying is based on their association club coefficient rankings. All ties are played over two legs.
