Bologna want a fee of at least €30-40 million to sell Inter Milan linked striker Santiago Castro this summer.
This according to Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.
Inter Milan are eyeing up a move for Bologna striker Santiago Castro this summer.
The Nerazzurri will certainly sign at least one forward during the upcoming transfer window. With Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa set to leave when their contracts expire, a replacement will be necessary.
And Bologna striker Castro is a player who ticks several of Inter’s boxes.
The 20-year-old has already proven himself in Serie A. That is certainly a big plus.
Then, Castro also very much has time on his side. The Argentine is twenty years of age.
And considering that Inter owners Oaktree Capital have made lowering the average age of the squad a key priority during the summer, that is certainly a major asset.

Santiago Castro has already scored eight goals and made four assists in Serie A this season. Moreover, he has been Bologna’s focal point in attack.
Therefore, there are no doubts about Castro’s suitability for the Italian top flight.
That does mean, however, that Castro will not come cheap.
According to TMW, Bologna want a fee of at least €30 million for the 20-year-old.
Then, with add-ons, that figure could rise to €40 million.
However, Inter would not necessarily be put off by that valuation for Castro.
Nerazzurri owners Oaktree have signalled that they are willing to invest in the transfer market, so long as it is in targeting younger players.
TMW note that Inter could plan a similar trajectory for Castro to when Lautaro Martinez first joined the club.
Martinez was the understudy to Mauro Icardi in attack in his first season at the club. Then, he became a key part of the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven.
