Laura Blindkilde Brown has received an England call-up for their upcoming Nations League matches.
The Lionesses will lock horns with Portugal on Friday 30 May at Wembley before concluding their Group A3 assignments with a trip to Spain on Tuesday 3 June.
Blindkilde Brown’s inclusion means City now have six representatives in Sarina Wiegman’s squad with Khiara Keating, Lauren Hemp, Khiara Keating and Jess Park being selected alongside Chloe Kelly who is currently on loan at Arsenal.
The Lionesses first welcome Francisco Neto’s side to Wembley Stadium on Friday 30 May at 19:45 (UK).
They will then travel to Spain on Tuesday 3 June, with kick-off at RCDE Stadium set for 18:00 (UK).
For Blindkilde Brown, it represents her third inclusion in a senior England squad, and she’ll be aiming to add to her singular cap during the latest international break.
The central midfielder made her Lionesses debut in a 1-0 win over Switzerland at Brammall Lane in December 2024 – playing 84 minutes of the success.
She also joins Wiegman’s side who harbour ambitions of reaching the Nations League finals which are to be played at the end of this year.
Blindkilde Brown’s nation currently sit second in Group A3 on seven points – only two behind current leaders Spain – meaning if they will advance into the semi-finals if they win their remaining two matches.
Everyone at the Club would like to congratulate Laura on her latest senior England inclusion.
