It has been reported that Irvine has signed on with Birmingham City until summer 2026.

The 18-year-old is in her second spell with Birmingham City after re-joining the club a couple of years ago. Irvine made her first appearance in the senior team as an unused substitute in last month’s 1-0 victory over Sheffield United in the Barclays Women’s Championship. The keeper has largely been gaining playing experience in the Professional Game Academy League with the Blues’ Under-21 side.

Irvine has an exciting future ahead of her and she will remain a Birmingham City player until at least next summer.

After signing professional terms with the Blues, Irvine said “It’s like a dream come true really. Since I was a kid, I’ve been wanting to do this and it means more for me being at Blues because of the support I get here.

“It feels a bit surreal at the minute, hopefully, I get used to it soon.”

Irvine will continue her development with Birmingham City’s Under-21s with a view to pushing for first team minutes.
