The appointment of Hansi Flick as the head coach of the FC Barcelona first team is clearly turning out to be a successful one. Following Xavi Hernandez’s departure from the Catalan club, there were several candidates in contention to replace him, but Laporta and Deco decided to bet on the former Bayern Munich trainer.

Since the start of the season, the German tactician has been able to significantly enhance the morale of a team that was unable to win any trophy in the last season. Under Flick, Barcelona are already at the top of the La Liga table and are also occupying a very desirable position in the UEFA Champions League table.

Now, having proven his sporting merits with the Blaugrana team, it is the German’s power of seduction that is getting into the spotlight. This is particularly the case in Germany, as SPORT reports that Bayern Munich are getting worried about Flick’s ability to attract some of their most important players like Joshua Kimmich and Alphonso Davies.

Both of these players are running out of contracts at the end of this season, and a Bayern Munich legend, Lotthar Matthaus, has already publicly admitted Flick’s ability to seduce players like Kimmich.

However, at the Blaugrana club, the interest in the German midfielder has somewhat diluted following the emergence of Marc Casado.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are also being linked with these two players. The Merengues are currently the favorites to land Davies, but the Canadian fullback’s agent recently made it clear that he has not yet agreed to join any club.

Similarly, Joshua Kimmich has also been linked with Los Blancos recently as they are looking to fill the void left by Toni Kroos’ retirement.

But with the financial constraints that Barcelona are facing, it remains to be seen how their association with these two players will develop in the coming weeks and months.
