Bayern Munich are pursuing a move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, according to Sky Germany.
The 22‑year‑old burst onto the scene at Lyon before joining PSG for €45 million in 2023.
He lost his place in the starting XI towards the end of this season, but still finished the treble-winning campaign with 21 goals and 18 assists across all competitions.
Combining devastating pace with incredible athleticism and trickery, Barcola is a superstar in the making, and it is no surprise he is now wanted by Bayern.
The Bavarians have placed Barcola at the top of their transfer candidates for the left-wing position, although a deal is considered difficult at this stage.
Bayern are actively seeking attacking reinforcements to complement their current squad. They were the front-runners to sign Florian Wirtz before he prioritised a move to Liverpool.
Nico Williams is their leading alternative if the move for Barcola fails, while Kaoru Mitoma, Rafael Leao and Cody Gakpo are also of interest.
Bayern remain in negotiations over a new deal for Leroy Sane but may have to accept defeat, given he is wanted by Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Arsenal.
Sane is expected to be on the plane when Bayern head to the United States for the upcoming Club World Cup ahead of the expiration of his contract on June 30.
A short-term solution is reportedly being worked upon that will keep Sane at Bayern until the end of the tournament.
