Bayer Leverkusen have reached an agreement with Sevilla to sign Loïc Badé (25) for a reported €30m including bonuses, according to Fabrice Hawkins.
The French defender has already agreed personal terms with Leverkusen but they also face competition from Bournemouth to sign the centre-back. The Premier League side have also submitted a €30m offer, and now it’s up to the player on which club he joins. Should Badé opt for Bayer Leverkusen, he has the chance to play Champions League football which further enhances his French national team prospects.
This is also echoed by Kicker, who reported on Sunday that Bayer Leverkusen have received a ‘clear signal’ from Badé that he would like to join the 2024 Bundesliga and German Cup champions. Should the Frenchman join die Werkself, he would become the latest defensive acquisition for a significant fee after Jarell Quansah (€35m) joined from Liverpool as they look to replace the departed Jonathan Tah.
