🎥 Baribo continues hot start in 2025 with hat-trick against Cincinnati | OneFootball

Philadelphia Union are enjoying themselves in the final third to start the 2025 MLS season as they lead 3-1 at home against FC Cincinnati.

After bagging four goals in their opening weekend win away at Orlando City, The Union have hit three on the night with plenty of time left, with Tai Baribo putting his name up in lights.

The 27-year-old claimed a brace a week ago to open his account to start the season and has now bettered that return this evening with a hat-trick.

First, he would expertly tap home from a Kai Wagner cross to set Philadelphia away in just the sixth minute before once again benefitting from a close-range finish after Daniel Gazdag pounced on a Cincinnati mistake at the back before setting Baribo up for a finish into the empty net.

Baribo would find this third on the night, once again from close range courtesy of Gazdag (who registered his second assist of the evening) who played a ball across the face of the goal to the Israeli striker who was free and clear at the back post.
