Barcelona’s Gavi takes aim at Real Madrid star with social media post after Clásico victory | OneFootball

Barcelona star Gavi made use of the opportunity to poke fun at a Real Madrid counterpart, on the back of the meeting between the sides on Sunday.

The season’s final edition of El Clásico was of course played to completion earlier today.

When all was said and done, it was Barcelona who secured bragging rights once more, for the fourth time this season.

This came after the Blaugrana staged another famous ‘remontada’, recovering from two goals down to ultimately emerge 4-3 victors at Montjuïc.

And as alluded to above, a leading member of Hansi Flick’s squad has since made sure to have some fun at the expense of one particular member of Carlo Ancelotti’s ranks.

Amid what appears to be something of a growing personal rivalry between the pair, Gavi was late last month spotted passionately celebrating Barca’s Copa del Rey final victory over Real Madrid in the face of Raúl Asencio.

And post-match on Sunday, the midfield starlet was back at it again.

In a post on his official Instagram account, Gavi unveiled a photo of himself winning a towering header over a grounded Asencio, showcased below:
