A leading member of the summer transfer wishlist at La Liga giants Barcelona has this week turned heads online.

This comes owing to his latest activity on social media.

The player in question? Luis Díaz.

Winger Díaz is of course widely understood to be Barcelona’s chief attacking target with a view to the 2025/26 campaign.

Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements out wide, the Blaugrana have earmarked the Colombian international as something of a priority signing.

Safe to say, then, that all associated with the Catalan club will no doubt be intrigued by Díaz’s latest activity online.

As revealed by Diario Sport, the Liverpool standout has this week begun following Barcelona on his official Instagram account.

Díaz follows only a select group of clubs on IG, making the sudden nature of his ‘nod’ to Hansi Flick’s side an altogether noteworthy one.

A mere coincidence? Or a subtle come-and-get-me plea to Deco and the board at the Camp Nou?
