Barcelona star reveals he predicted a 3-1 win over Bayern Munich | OneFootball

Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has revealed that he envisioned a comfortable victory over Bayern Munich, even ahead of taking to the pitch for the clash.

Lewandowski, of course, locked horns with his former club late last night.

And, en route to a dominant victory for Barcelona, the Polish international was on target once more, notching Barca’s 2nd en route to a 4-1 result.

Lewandowski opted against celebrating as much, as a show of respect for the club with whom he enjoyed the most successful years of his storied career.

Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle in Catalunya’s capital, though, the 36-year-old revealed that he did predict a comfortable Blaugrana win over Bayern.

During a post-match interview, Lewandowski was drawn on the outcome of proceedings at Montjuïc, and went on to reveal:

“I was convinced that we would play a good game and win. Before the game I expected a 3-1 win.”
