Barcelona star: Real Madrid have ‘pressure’ to find their own Lamine Yamal | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has late this week revealed his take that arch rivals Real Madrid will likely be feeling the heat in efforts to find their own Lamine Yamal.

This, of course, comes as youngster Lamine continues to make a name for himself as not only one of the standout young players in world football, but one of the very best players full stop.

The 18-year-old is considered a generational talent, who could define the era of football to come.

As much weighs heavy on those on the other side of the Clásico divide, who were last season forced to watch on as Lamine guided his Barcelona side to a domestic treble.

And one individual of the opinion that Real Madrid are therefore under ‘pressure’ to unearth a young gem of their own is Robert Lewandowski.

Speaking during an interview with ESPN this week, veteran frontman Lewandowski explained:

“For sure, they have the pressure to find someone like Lamine Yamal, but I think that’s impossible. It’s better to follow your own way. Of course, there’s pressure from the fans: ‘You have to find our Lamine Yamal.’ But you can’t, because he isn’t born in every city and every year. It’s something that happens once every 10 years. It’s like Messi and Ronaldo, you can’t find anything like them because they are unique.”
