Barcelona star preparing for his final season with the club | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona is almost 100% guaranteed to depart next summer.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who highlight Robert Lewandowski as the player in question.

Frontman Lewandowski is for his part fresh off another productive campaign in front of goal.

All told, across the length of the 2024/25 campaign, the Polish international found the net on a hefty 42 occasions.

If the latest word stemming from the media this weekend is anything to go by, though, then the Barcelona brass are nevertheless preparing for an upcoming future without Lewandowski.

The former Bayern Munich man’s current terms in Catalunya’s capital are due to expire in the summer of 2026.

And according to Sport, with ‘Lewa’ set to turn 38 in August of next year:

‘This is already shaping up to be the last year of his time at the Spotify Camp Nou.’
