Barcelona star offered a three-year contract by Cesc Fàbregas’ Como | OneFootball

A member of the goalkeeper ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona has received a contract offer on the part of Serie A outfit Como.

That’s according to Italian transfer insider Nicolo Schira, who points towards Iñaki Peña as the Blaugrana star in question.

Barcelona and Como have already done business on one occasion this summer.

After Álex Valle enjoyed a successful loan stint with the latter over the 2nd half of last season, the young defender was snapped up by Cesc Fàbregas’ side on a permanent basis.

And the Italian side’s shopping spree in Catalunya may not be finished there…

As per a report from the aforementioned Nicolo Schira:

‘Como are in talks with Barca to try to sign the goalkeeper Iñaki Peña. Offered a contract until 2028.

Shot-stopper Peña is of course widely expected to be on the move before the summer is out, having continued to tumble down the pecking order between the posts in Hansi Flick’s squad following the arrival of Joan García.
