Barcelona will be forced to make do without the contributions of midfielder Dani Olmo once more this weekend.
That’s according to Barca insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS, who has on Thursday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Hansi Flick’s squad.
Spanish international Olmo, for his part, was of course condemned to a fresh spell on the sidelines early last week.
As much came after his appearance off the bench in Barcelona’s 1-1 stalemate with Getafe was followed by an announcement that the summer arrival in Catalunya’s capital had suffered a ‘right soleus strain’.
Olmo, in turn, was ruled out against all of Benfica, Valencia and Atalanta.
And, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then the 26-year-old will remain absent once more this weekend.
As per Javier Miguel:
‘Olmo is still not training with the group. His presence on Sunday against Deportivo Alavés is very complicated.’
