Barcelona star Pedri has on Thursday named the player whom he would most like to bring to the Camp Nou as a teammate.

The player in question? Erling Haaland.

Manchester City star Haaland is for his part of course fresh off a scintillating start to the new campaign.

Across the Premier League champions’ opening three fixtures of the term, the Norwegian has racked up a frankly remarkable seven goals.

This follows on from the former Borussia Dortmund standout breaking countless records en route to six pieces of silverware across his first two seasons in English football.

And one individual evidently of the opinion that such form would carry over seemlessly into Spanish football is the aforementioned Pedri.

Speaking in an interview with Mundo Deportivo this week, midfielder Pedri was asked ‘which rival player would you like to have on your team at Barcelona?’

And the 21-year-old did not hesitate in responding:

“Haaland”
