According to a recent update from SPORT, talented Barça Atletic forward Alan Godoy is drawing serious attention from several Second Division clubs hoping to sign him this summer.

Godoy was one of the standout signings for Barça Atletic last season and quickly became a key player. However, following the team’s relegation, multiple offers have come in from clubs eager to add his attacking talent to their squads.

Barça paid around €150,000 to secure Godoy last year, beating competition from many other Primera RFEF teams who were tracking him closely.

He signed a contract until 2027, which means that if he leaves now, Barça would receive a transfer fee. This situation puts the club in a strong position, as they hold the player’s rights and can decide the best path forward.

Despite the growing list of offers, Barça are not in a hurry to sell Godoy. The club values him highly and sees him as a reference point for their attacking line in the coming seasons.

Barça’s sporting directors are studying different possibilities to ensure they do not lose control of the 22-year-old’s future, even if he goes out on loan or moves to a club with a buyback option.

Meanwhile, Godoy, currently on holiday, is taking time to rest with his family while keeping up his fitness with individual training sessions.

A decision about his future is expected soon, as he considers whether to stay at Barça Atletic or accept one of the tempting offers to return to the Second Division.

The club’s faith in his abilities is clear, but with strong interest from several teams, Godoy’s next move remains uncertain.
