The upcoming weeks could prove to be crucial for FC Barcelona as they try to plan ahead. For La Blaugrana, the primary focus right now is to wrap up any pending operations as soon as possible. After all, the Barcelona squad is set to return to action soon under Hansi Flick.

After a rather short vacation, the first team squad is expected to report back in the coming days. Once that is done, the squad will immediately begin preparations for their upcoming preseason tour and Hansi Flick will want to assess his team thoroughly.
As it stands right now, the Barcelona first team regulars will also be joined by some promising faces. Jan Virgili is expected to take part in the preseason tour with the first team squad, and promising talent Ibrahim Diarra is expected to join him as well.
However, a promising talent from outside Barcelona could end up joining them as well. As per the information provided by Mundo Deportivo, 19-year-old Swedish winger Roony Bardghji is expected to complete his move to Barcelona this week from FC Copenhagen and the club already has an immediate plan in mind for him right afterwards.
In a recent update, even Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the player had completed the first part of his medical tests with Barcelona already. That was already a strong indicator of where his operation was headed, but this report only further adds to that.

As per MD, however, the immediate plan for the player is to have him take part with the first team in their preseason tour. That should ideally allow Hansi Flick to get a closer look at the player from FC Copenhagen and better assess what qualities he could bring to the team.
Beyond that, however, Barça plans for him to alternate between the first team and the reserve team as it competes in the Segunda RFEF. While he will have to balance both opportunities, Barcelona see him as being ready to take on the challenge and find opportunities on both ends.
Previously, there was speculation regarding a potential loan move for the player, but it seems now that Barcelona are more interested in seeing him in action. If he manages to impress and if the Segunda RFEF proves to be a level too low for him, he could even directly become the back-up option to Lamine Yamal in the first team.
