Lamine Yamal continues to break barriers and make a global impact. According to an exclusive report by German magazine Kicker, 216 Bundesliga players have voted the young Barcelona winger as the best attacking player in European football this season.

Yamal won the vote convincingly, securing 53.7% of the ballots, ahead of Ousmane Dembélé (6.9%) and Kylian Mbappe (6%). Another standout from Barça, Raphinha, finished fourth with 4.6% of the votes.

At just 17 years old, Lamine Yamal has stunned this season with his dribbling, creativity, and decisive goals, registering 18 goals and 25 assists in 55 matches across all competitions.

The La Masia wonderkid played an integral part in Barcelona’s domestic treble triumph of La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup while helping them reach the UEFA Champions League semi-finals.

In talks for the Ballon d’Or, alongside former Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele, Lamine has now received a big seal of approval from professionals in the Bundesliga.

Recognition did not stop with the players. In the same survey, Hansi Flick was voted Europe’s best coach of the season for his immediate and transformative impact at Barça.

The German manager revitalised the team’s playing style, maximised the performance of players, and reignited excitement among supporters with his attacking philosophy and convincing results.

Flick received 31.9% of the vote, ahead of PSG’s Luis Enrique, who won the UEFA Champions League, new Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso, and Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

The selections of Lamine Yamal and Hansi Flick by Bundesliga professionals stand as recognition of Barcelona’s outstanding season.

Barça are once again a force to be reckoned with in Europe, and their future lies in the brilliance of Yamal and the leadership of Flick, both of whom signed new contracts last month.
