Tommaso Baldanzi admits he’s been dreaming of his first Roma goal since joining the club in January and that the last few days were ‘intense.’
The Giallorossi beat Udinese 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico on Ivan Juric’s debut on Sunday.
Baldanzi found the net for the first time at Roma, scoring the third goal for the Giallorossi.
“Those are nice things to see. I’ve been dreaming of this moment since I arrived,” he told DAZN.
“It is a tough moment, so we needed those three points. I am so happy for my first goal with this team.
“I always try to give my best and make myself available for the team,” the Italy U21 star continued.
“We want to reach our targets, which are many and beautiful. If we play as we did today, strong and united, we’ll get satisfaction.
“These were intense days, but we should not focus on them. We must train and work hard as we are doing because we have some clear targets that we want to reach.”
