Atlético Madrid table official offer for Serie A star | OneFootball

La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have sent an official proposal the way of Juventus, for a member of the latter’s attacking ranks.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Nico González as the subject of the offer.

The name of frontman González has of course proven a prominent one in the media headlines in Spain’s capital for several weeks now.

This comes after word was forthcoming that, amid an ongoing search for reinforcements in the final third, the aforementioned Atlético had earmarked the Argentine international as a leading target.

Talks, in turn, have long been underway between the Metropolitano brass, and their counterparts in Turin.

And as alluded to above, on the eve of the transfer deadline, Atléti have now gone as far as to put a bid on the table for González.

As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano:

‘Understand Atlético Madrid are back in serious talks for Nico González, new official bid also sent to Juve.’
