Atlético Madrid name squad for Getafe clash | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Atlético Madrid have on Saturday unveiled the club’s latest matchday squad.

This comes ahead of the Rojiblancos’ return to action on Sunday afternoon.

Diego Simeone’s troops are primed to kick their ongoing pursuit of the La Liga table back into gear in less than 24 hours’ time.

Sandwiched between a pair of Champions League meetings with arch rivals Real Madrid, Atlético will make the trip to the Estadio Coliseum, for a meeting with Getafe.

And as alluded to above, late on Saturday, the squad of players selected by boss Simeone for the clash has been made official.

Despite the hectic fixture list facing his side at present, the Argentine tactician has opted for a strong group, featuring, most notably, the returning César Azpilicueta.

The only significant absentee, meanwhile, comes in the form of Koke, with Atléti’s captain still sidelined owing to a muscular issue suffered last month.
