Athletic Club’s Julen Agirrezabala expects “complicated” match against Roma

Speaking ahead of his team’s Europa League showdown against Roma, Athletic Club goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala admitted he’s eager for the fixture in the Italian capital.

The shot-stopper acknowledged that Thursday’s challenge will be a tough one for his side—but they’re eager to prove themselves against strong team.

“The Europa League is exciting, we’re off to a great start against a historic team,” he told Marca.

“It will be a complicated challenge but we want to give continuity to the last league matches. Roma are a great team, both with Juric and with the previous coach (De Rossi). We will give our best.”

Kick-off between the sides is scheduled for 21.00 CET on Thursday at the Stadio Olimpico.
